Gemini Bicycles is an Australian owned bicycle supplier which has been operating in Australia since 1980 and in New Zealand since 1999. Gemini developed its own extensive range of bikes during the 80's and made its mark in the days when BMX and MTB were being pioneered. The company received numerous design awards and also excelled in touring and road racing bikes.

In 1993 Gemini became the distributor of Mongoose brand in Australia and later in New Zealand.

Nowadays Mongoose is one of the best respected and recognised bike brands in the market. This is due to the great expertise in the partnership between Mongoose and Gemini. Whilst the brand retains its US heritage it has morphed into a global product range. The road bikes have a largely European flavour. The touring bikes are influenced by Australia. The BMX and MTB are managed by the US teams. These teams feature international riders such as Simon Tabron and Steve McCann. One of the great Mongoose riders is the DH champion, Australian Steve Marsh.

Gemini has a strong commitment to bicycle advocacy. It donates a proportion of its sales revenue to the Cycling Promotion Fund which works with NGOs and Government to improve the treatment of cyclists and the facilities for them.
